Through the second chapter of the collaboration, PHILEO and SALOMON offer an unfiltered vision of the urban dwellers who, caught in a kind of schizophrenia, find themselves torn between the obligation to assert themselves against the harshness of the city and their quest for nature—leaving behind the noise and stress, escaping to reach calm and serenity.
PHILEO revisits Salomon’s ALPINWAY archetype through the lens of constructivism, proposing an asymmetrical and streamlined version that expresses the duality between conquering the city and a spiritual journey towards nature.
